We are often asked if we sell live turtles, tortoises, or other animals.

The answer is no, we do not.  We never have, and never will.

We feel that responsible pet care begins with research into the species in which you have an interest.  All too often in our "I want it now" society, animals are purchased impulsively by people who do not realize the care required to keep an animal humanely, healthy, and happy.

If you are considering purchasing an animal, we urge you to go through an adoption/rehoming organization, rather than purchase an animal off of the Internet.  While some retailers are genuinely responsible regarding the welfare of the animals they offer-and don't sell them to just anyone-most are not. Please don't fall victim to the "adoption" sales pitch that some Internet sites now use.

By first researching the animal you are interested in, and then adopting an animal in need (whether reptile, amphibian, or mammal) you giving an animal in need a good home.
